Inside Out | Outside In is a double sided magazine about the search of identity. Inside Out shows 10 different artist that try to figure out their own identity or the overall meaning of “identity” through their artworks. I believe that these different angles can provide an insight on how to define your own identity. Outside In is a theoretical approach on the matter. This side includes three essays of philosophers that define the ways that identity is formed and preceived in the world we nowadays live.  

In my experience, a society is always searching to make progress, we are chasing the perfect and looking for ways to make the world a little bit better. In my research into this subject I dived into protesting. The magazine has become a transcript of my findings.

This almanac represents the personal process  I made during the first academic year of Graphic Design at HKU.
