Graphic Designer (Student HKU)

Als grafisch ontwerper is de mens mijn belangrijkste inspiratiebron; als persoon, concept, object, collectief en in relatie tot haar omgeving. Ik verzamel informatie vanuit diverse perspectieven en herstructureer deze om los te komen van mijn gebruikelijke gedachtegoed. Dat is kunst voor mij, de mogelijkheid om een kijkje te nemen vanuit een andere invalshoek.

In mijn werk ben ik altijd opzoek naar een medium dat omstanders de mogelijkheid biedt om een interactie aan te gaan met sociale vraagstukken. Een uitnodiging om deel te nemen aan het werk en onderdeel te zijn van het continue proces van ontwerpen. Mijn droom is om door mijn middel van mijn werk omgevingen te creëren waarin we ons losmaken van gebruikelijke ideeën en zo het creatieve vermogen stimuleren.



As a graphic designer, the human being is my biggest source of inspiration; as a person, concept, object, collectively and in relation to it’s environment. I collect information from various perspectives and restructure these to break free from my usual thinking. That's art to me, the opportunity to see things from a different angle.

In my work I’m always looking for a medium that offers observers the opportunity to engage with these social matters.  To become part of the work, by interacting with it and to take a part in the ongoing process of designing.  My dream is to create environments through my work in which we break free from our usual ideas and thus stimulate the creative capacity.
